Consolidated as one of the most significant events held by the Escola da Cidade, the International Seminar arrives at its 13th edition with the theme “Architecture is a way of knowing”. Annually, for a week, prestigious national and international guests from the area of architecture and urbanism participate in debates and workshops that involve students, teachers and general public.
The 13th edition of the International Seminar will discuss the interpretation and production of urban space as an essential part of learning in Architecture and Urbanism. A reflection on the specificity of the architect’s gaze on the built environment and its relation with other views. The reading and interpretation of the city as a way of knowing man, art, technique, history. To know as action that makes possible the realization of a proposal.
