Peace Pavilion for Candido Portinari

Candido Portinari, the famous Italo-Brazilian painter, realized the panels “War” and “Peace” for the UN Headquarter in New York City between 1952 and 1956. The Peace Pavilion is the occasion to exhibit the two large paintings (10mx14m) in Venice Arsenale and in other cities destroyed by the war as a message for Peace.
