Urbicide Rural Syria. Reconstruction of villages

MA theses 2018

For centuries Syria has been an agricultural civilization based on a complex mosaic of small scale villages that allowed the continuous control of the territory. During the war, many villages faced battles and consequent destruction. The reconstruction can start from key interventions in small scale villages where quantities are rather small and where innovative ideas can be tested, controlled and modified.
